The exercise consists of building the “La Concordia” Milestone superimposed on a tire that makes it float allowing it to resist the onslaught of the waves.
This Milestone was left on the seashore, close to the border in dispute between Chile and Peru; being picked up, dragged over and over again by the waves in different directions, leaving the Landmark of “La Concordia” adrift, aimlessly.

* Milestone Concordia is located on the line located at the Concordia border crossing, which is protected on the Chilean side by the Chacalluta border complex, while on the Peruvian side it is protected by the Santa Rosa Border Complex. Both border complexes are less than 1 km apart, it is a border yet to be resolved.

El ejercicio consiste en la construcción del Hito “La Concordia” sobrepuesto sobre un neumático que lo hace flotar permitiéndole resistir los embates de las olas.
Este Hito, fue dejado en la orilla del mar, cercano al límite en disputa entre Chile y Perú; siendo recogido, arrastrado una y otra vez por las olas en distintas direcciones, dejando el Hito de “La Concordia” a la deriva, sin rumbo.
* Hito Concordia se encuentra en la línea ubicada en el paso fronterizo Concordia, que es resguardado en el lado chileno por el Complejo fronterizo Chacalluta, mientras que en el lado peruano es resguardado por el Complejo Fronterizo Santa Rosa. Ambos complejos fronterizos se encuentran a menos de 1 km de distancia, es una frontera aun por resolver.
