Photographs (70 x 70 cm.) In B / W to petri dishes of fungal cultures of the Araucaria tree. Said photographs are intervened with texts in neon light of ironic words (System – Suffering – Inhuman – Suspect – Ente – Advance – Progress) or with fragments of the genetic code of this tree.

Maps of continents carved with the image of suspicious fungi (70 x 70 cm.), In the background it is possible to see B / N photographs of Araucaria barks or journalistic photos of natural disasters.

Two “amasijos” sculptures made with the collection of remains of Araucarias crossed by led lights and tied with plastic tape. These are suspended from where a stream of water falls on a small pond.

* The Araucaria tree has been declared a Natural Monument in Chile since 1976; Since December 2018 it has been in danger of extinction after it was affected by a fungus (Mortierella) that is drying it from the inside.

Fotografías (70 x 70 cm.) en B/N a placas petri de cultivos de hongos del árbol de la Araucaria. Dichas fotografía son intervenidas con textos en luz neón de palabras irónicas (Sistema – Padece – Inhumano – Sospechoso – Ente – Avanza – Progresa) o con fragmentos del código genético de éste árbol.

Mapas de continentes calados con la imagen de hongos sospechosos (70 x 70 cm.), de fondo es posible ver fotografías en B/N de cortezas de Araucarias o fotos periodísticas de desastres naturales.

Dos esculturas “amasijos” realizadas con la recolección de restos de Araucarias entrecruzadas por luces led y amarradas con cinta plástica. Estas se encuentran suspendidas desde donde se precipita un chorro de agua sobre un pequeño estanque.
* El árbol Araucaria es declarado Monumento Natural en Chile a partir de 1976; desde diciembre de 2018 se encuentra en peligro de extinción luego que fuera afectado por un hongo (Mortierella) que lo va secando desde adentro.
